Offering Beginner and Intermediate Level Classes

During the 6-week group course, we'll meet once a week for 2 hours, from 5pm-7pm. (Monday’s sessions are 11 am-1pm). Class is $450 per person with all materials are included. There are no make up sessions for missed days.

Private 6-week classes are available for groups of 2-6 people, Mon-Fri 11am-5pm. Class is $600 per person with all materials included, PLUS a 6 week membership trial. Please email us to schedule your private class.

Schedule: Beginner Level Classes - Intro to Ceramics

No previous experience needed, perfect for first timers / beginners .

Week 1: Intro to Wedging, centering and plate making.

Week 2: Intro to cylinders Mugs

Week 3: Intro to trimming exploring open VS closed forms

Week 4: Practice Day Each student can focus on a particular form to practice

Week 5: Trimming Day

Week 6: Intro to glazing. You will be glazing all the pieces you have made.

Pick up for pieces are 2-3weeks after class

Schedule for Intermediate Level Classes

Requirements: Must have taken our beginner 6 week class. Or must be able to center and pull with confidence and efficiency

Week 1: Intro to throwing tall cylinders

Week 2: Intro to Slips, Texture and Darting

Week 3:Intro to stacking cylinders, shaping closed VS open forms

Week 4: Jars and Tea Pots

Week 5 Trimming

Week 6: Glazing

Pieces will be available for pick up 3 weeks after final class

Rescheduling / Cancellation Policy

• No show will result in a forfeit of the class. This is non-refundable, and can not be rescheduled.

• Rescheduling must be 21 days before the first day of class.

• Cancellations must be made 30 days before the first day of class to receive a full refund

• Cancellations made 15 days before the start of class are eligible for a 50% refund

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to muddstudiohawaii@gmail.com

• Refunds will be processed within 1-2 days from the date of cancellation approval.
