Under the guidance of our skilled instructors, they will embark on a transformative weekly ritual—learning to embrace the wheel, quiet the mind, and craft a stunning, functional collection of mugs, bowls, vases, and plates.
Each week builds upon the last, giving students the time and space to develop real muscle memory and technique:
Weeks 1–3: The Foundations | Master clay preparation (wedging), centering on the wheel, and throwing classic functional forms.
Week 4: Refinement & Trimming | Learn to turn pieces over, carve professional foot rings, reshape profiles, and pull and attach custom handles.
Week 5: Surface & Decoration | Explore creative surface design using colored slips and underglazes to add personal artistic flair.
Week 6: The Glaze Studio | Dive into our studio's glaze library, learning proper application techniques to give their high-fired pieces a beautiful, durable finish.
All-Inclusive Access: All clay, specialized studio tools, house glazes, and kiln firings are completely covered.
Your Handmade Collection: At the end of the 6 weeks, they will have a beautiful, fully finished set of pottery ready to display, use, or gift.
Pickup Timeline: Their final, vitrified masterpieces will be ready for pickup exactly one week after graduation.
